Dexter is a kid genius with an inflated ego the size of his secret laboratory. Although he can invent a shrink ray, Dexter is still plagued by childhood dilemmas like being late to school.

Dexter's mom is the epitome of the homemaker, while his dad comes straight out of Leave it to Beaver. Loving and clueless, they never notice the havoc wrought by Dexter's inventions.

Mandark is Dexter's arch-rival. Being smarter than Dexter, he forced Dexter to shut down his inferior laboratory. However, his affection for Deedee lead to his doom. In a frenzy of dancing, Deedee demolishes Mandark's lab.

Deedee is Dexter's older sister who infuriates Dexter by playing in his beloved laboratory. She loves dancing and candy, though her dancing is probably more menacing than a raging bull.

The Justice Friends consist of Major Glory, Kronk and Val Hallen. These superheros take everyday chores to the extreme.

Although tested negative for superpowers in Dexter's laboratory, Monkey transforms into a superhero whenever treachery and evil strike at the heart of men.
